Tim Shea; Steering Committee Member
Work at the Chamber
In his role as Vice President, Tim manages the communications, membership sales, marketing, Welcome Centers, tourism promotion, and the Vermont Convention Bureau divisions of the Chamber.
Tim is a registered lobbyist and handles tourism issues in the Vermont State House. He also serves as the Chamber’s Congressional Liaison and works closely with our elected officials in Washington DC on a variety of issues.
Education & Prior Experience
Tim has been with the Chamber since August 1994 and in his current role of Vice President since October 2000. Prior to this, he was the Executive Director of the Vermont Convention Bureau. Before joining the Chamber, Tim worked in the field of hotel sales and marketing.
He earned Bachelors of Science from Charter Oak State College and a Masters in Administration and Management from Saint Michael’s College.
Tim is President of the Vermont Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives; active volunteer with the United Way of Chittenden County; steering committee member of the Burlington Legacy Project; member of the Lake Champlain Quadricentennial Commission; and a Past Vice Chair of the Burlington Electric Commission.
