Share Your Vision
Sustainability. It means something different to everyone. What does it mean to you?
A job that pays the bills, a house or apartment you can afford, a neighborhood that feels like home, transportation that works for you, a clean environment, affordable health care, an education that prepares you for a job and a way to participate in the world, open government, and a diverse and equitable city — these are the things the Legacy Project cares about.
Tell us what you care about!
1. Imagine that Burlington 20 years from now is a great place to live, work & play and raise a family. What does that look like? What does that mean to you? (Describe your vision, hopes & dreams for the future.)
2. What specific actions or steps do we need to take to bring that vision to life?
3. Areas of focus for the Legacy Plan include: jobs, housing & neighborhoods, transportation, environment, health, education, open government, diversity and equity. Which of these is also important to your vision for the future & why? Are there specific actions we can take to address any of these or are there relevant options or concerns we should consider?
